1.UI (User  Interface) Design:

UI designs are related to terms like icons, stock images, backgrounds, fonts, color, graphic designs, buttons, etc. It is a design or logo which you first see in an App, logo, or website.

UI designs are made in such a way that the user stays in the App or website as long as possible. Its interface should be eye-catching so that users want to more suffer into it.

A UI designer is interested in typography and ensuring that you hear good typography fundamentals. They are interested in white space or negative space, which gives a user interface structure between elements. They are also interested in readability, contrast, and useability. They make sure that the design is responsive for all devices.

2.UX  (User Experience) design:

UX design is a process that has many parts like:

a. Research:

Research can be composed of
Understanding: Conducting user interviews to identify their requirements.
User Personas: Represents a typical user to identify their goals, frustration, etc.
User cases: How might different people use this product or service?
Journey Map: How a user might start and finish their experience.

b.Brainstorming: This includes creating
User Flow: Diagrams that outline the steps a user might take during the experience as they go from step to step in the UI.
Wireframe: A rough skeleton representation of the UI and the various components that make up the UI.

c.Implement
This is where UI designers will come into a fact. They create
Prototypes:
UI Designers create low or high-fidelity prototypes, which may or may not be interactive.
Frontend & Backend Development:
Once prototypes are approved, developers make the prototypes as a working product.

d.Reporting:
Once it has been implemented the product or service you have
Usability Reporting:
Observe real users using the product through a variety of means.
Split testing:
Testing the effectiveness of one design intersection over another.
Analytics Reporting:
Gaining additional insights such as time spent on pages, bounce rates, and more.

So UX design is a process. it's usually a sequential process.
